I guess I was cranky because I really wanted to see Kevin Smith, and all hopes of that were shattered the minute I entered the hall and heard an annoucement saying that the tickets were all gone. Damn! Note to self... if you go next year get advanced tickets, get there at 7am, bring stuff to be signed. I did end up getting Chris Claremont to sign a comic for me... he's a writer for X-Men. He's probably most famous because it was he who is responsible for the "Dark Phoenix Saga." I had him sign the issue of X-Treme X-Men where Psylocke is killed, and I informed him that I wish he'd bring her back. He said that he'd see what he could do... damn straight! I also got one of the artists to sign a comic for me, and I had another do an original sketch of Psylocke for me. It's hot and I love it!
I ended up buying a box of ROTK update cards (which I didn't get a special insert but the guy said to send the box top to Topps and that they'd send one since there was supposed to be one in there), a Japanese Psylocke keychain, a "Pussy Wagon" keychain, and that's about it. There was so much more I could've bought but didn't have the money.
There were some great costumes there... you'll see some of them in my pictures. I loved the She-ra! Also, Captain Jack was there... this was the same one who was at Bristol and at The Gathering. He gave me a Jack Sparrow temp tattoo and a hug! Squeee! I'm a nerd! He was standing next to a Beetleguese... and that saucy dead guy was staring at me boobies! There were some costumes that shouldn't have happened, though. But I won't go into that... I may end up pissing some people off.
